Turning trepidation to anticipation

I've sent the crew home to enjoy a long weekend before hitting 2016 a fresh outlook.  I'm sitting here waiting for a Fedex delivery (that probably won't be here until Monday) and I'm finding a coveted quiet moment in which to reflect on the past year and ponder the year to come.  It's chilly today.  I can see the breath of the passers-by as I look out the window to enjoy the sunshine and blue sky.  The fur babies are snuggled into their favorite places. Eddie in his chair, Gidget has found a spot in which she can worship the sun, and Midge has kicked them both out of the kennel.

I am filled with gratitude for all of the blessings the universe has brought to me and my peeps, and am filled with hope that 2016 will bring all of us some measure of comfort and joy.
Jill

Here's a piece I haven't shown you yet.  I'm incredibly proud of this one, as is Sharon, the amazing woman who stitched it.

We finished up some beauties this week.  So, rather than pulling random photos from my archives, I'll show you what we accomplished.

The understated mats on the Chatelaine piece and 1692 couldn't be more perfect. Happy New Year!

Oh my, COLORS on all pieces are outstanding. Each or beautiful but the first Chatelain is over the top. Happy New Year (from almost the mid point)
