Angels and Mermiads

I've been doing quite a few "collections" lately.  Today I have a collection of angels which were designed to work together as if they would hang in a grouping or in the same room.  Knowing that my client prefers autumn tones, I purposefully stayed away from the soft pinks, blues and greens while still using a color scheme that suited each piece. They represent a lifetime of work and I'm very happy with the results.  Dawn, they are simply gorgeous.  I can't wait to see a photo of where you've hung them.

Speaking of a lifetime of work, this next "collection" is the first installment of a series of 12.  YES, I said 12!  Rally, you must stitch non-stop. The quality of your pieces shows your experience as a stitcher.

In order to make these pieces all work as a collection, we've chosen to let the fabric and the frame be the unifying factor.  We will use mat colors and motifs to suit the individual pieces as we design them.  Once we get the series finished, I'll dedicate a page to them.

Now I'm off to check on the elves.
Hugs to you all,
Jill
