When Midge and Gidget were puppies, they ate with a hearty appetite. Then, out of the blue they became picky eaters. I didn't worry too much - thinking it was just a phase they were going through. When Midge began vomiting every morning and going for 5 days at a time without eating, the vet gave her some probiotics
and that seemed to help a little. She would eat well for a week and then suddenly she'd be off her feed. Well, this went on for about a year. Then, one day I read the ingredient list in their favorite treats. The ingredients looked wholesome enough, but there was a little disclaimer at the bottom of the bag that said, "Wash your hands after giving treats". WHAT? Why on earth would I feed something to my precious puppies that could have possible health risks to humans? Are they crazy? I cannot imagine in what world it is ok to feed ANYTHING to a pet that could possibly harm their health. I immediately threw those treats away and looked for something else I could treat them with. Once those treats were out of their systems they began eating their regular food again. I found them a new treat that had been irradiated and my girls became the vibrant healthy dogs they were meant to be. I will now boycott any dog food company that doesn't care whether it's healthy for them as long as they'll eat it.
I caught one of those nasty summer colds this week, so I don't feel like I was very productive. The good news is that I skipped writing the blog for a couple of weeks so I still have some neat stuff to show you.
Enjoy.

Great info on dog treats. And I hope you feel better. Thx for posting the lovely pix of the work you do.
I am so glad to hear you found out what was making Midge so sick! So terrible what they put in some pet food. Another lovely array of framing Jill! Love everything but my favorite are the peacock and the last pixie. So pretty! :)
What kind of treats were they. I want to be sure not to give them to my puppy
The Believe stitch is beautiful and the framing is perfect! Do you know who designed the chart? Thanks!
