I've always been a fan of Pollyanna, but until I reached 30 I didn't realize the importance of adjusting your own attitude towards the situations life throws your way. I now drive people crazy trying to find "the silver lining" behind every cloud. I'd rather be that person than a grumpy gus. To that end, I started playing the gratitude game every day. Each day I choose something that I'm grateful for and I love asking the people I come in contact with what they're grateful for. I'm often delighted and surprised by their answers. I find that by focusing on what's good in life instead of what's bad, I get into the proper attitude for handling anything.
Today, I'm grateful for teeth. I can't wait to hear what you're grateful for.

Unfinished business...
I've had a couple of queries that I replied to and THEN I remembered that some of the emails I'm getting are those "noreply" emails. So, if you didn't get your answer, I'm hoping you're reading this.
The white sampler we showed on the "change is good" page, is a Stoney Creek pattern called "To Have And To Hold". The stitcher has used her own combination of colors, fabric, and beads.
The baseball baby sampler was by Country Cottage Needleworks and it's called Little League. Here's the link she recommended.

And now, last week's work.

You do such beautiful work!
I loved how you framed the white sampler on "change is good". I wondered what the name of the pattern was. I looked up Stoney Creek's To Have and To Hold and that is not the correct pattern. Still looking...
Sorry, Amy, I mis-spoke. It is from an out of print Stoney Creek booklet #233 entitled "To Have And To Hold". Perhaps you can find on on Ebay.

I can't find this white sampler and I'm dying to see it!! What is the "change is good" page?
go to "older posts" at the bottom of the page and go clear back to August 22.
Everything is beautiful as always. I just love the Santas.
SO GLAD to have found your blog. A friend of mine here in Raleigh, NC..Donna U, has so many things framed by you in her home and every time I see them I wish you were here! Beautiful work.
We were caught in the windstorm and are still without power. Our production is a little crippled with no lights, phones, computers, etc. If you've been trying to reach us, please don't worry. We'll be up and running in no time. Ill keep you posted as best I can. Jill.
I'm grateful I found your blog. I've been reading and seeing so much about your unique framing from members of the HAED Bulletin board. You're work is truly beautiful.
I'm also grateful for my eyesight so I can enjoy cross stitching without the use of glasses.

Your work is beautiful, I enjoy your blog. Do you have any information on a picture on your Wed., November 23 post. It's "and the friendly beasts around him stood"? Thank you!
Jill...just wanted to leave you a note saying my son loved Eagle's Eye View that you framed for me. We were all in tears when he opened it Christmas Eve. Thank you so much for doing a beautiful job framing for me. You made it come to life.
I like that eagle one. It is majestic.
