Every day is a good day

After last week's snowstorm, today's warmth was a welcome relief.  Any day we have sunshine is a good day for me. I don't care if I have to spend the whole day in the studio as long as I can look out and get my sunshine fix. It's a little difficult convincing Midge and Gidget that they should stay inside with me, however.

We had some fabulously unusual projects this week.  It was lots of fun to have such a creative variety.  Here are the results.

The flowery skull was very unexpected, but very cool! The fairy on the leaf is delicately intriguing!Love all the pieces and the children's prints are darling!

Any idea of who designed the fairy on the leaf? Love it & as always love your work Jill :(

The skull is Bone Cheeks by Prairie Moon. I don't recognize the fairy on the loof, but I'd love to know.

Hello, All! Didn't Jill do a lovely job (as always!) framing the fairy piece? The pattern is Fairy Alighting by X's and Oh's. I took liberty changing the fabric and floss colors to suit my decorating taste rather than what the chart calls for. Plus, I took a bit more liberty altering the pattern, especially with the bottom hand placement which in the pattern is just below the bottom wing. I preferred the pattern to look as though both hands/arms are held above the fairy's head. Hope this helps. Happy stitching -- Tracey
