a blog holiday

My dear Mother used to tell me "If you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all".  Well, I couldn't think of a darned thing that was nice or even interesting to say last week, so I took a little blog holiday.  Hopefully I'm recharged and have lots of "nice" stuff to say.

The crocuses at the studio have been blooming for over a month now.  Just when they reached their full glory, the neighbors' gardener wacked them all down with a weed wacker!  I'm counting my blessings that the tulips
aren't fully up yet and they may have a chance to bloom before they (or the gardeners :) ) meet the same fate.

I put a pork roast on my rotisserie this noon and put it outside so I won't fill the house with smoke.  Little Gidget spent half an hour barking at the "moving meat".

I've been feeling rather creative lately, so I've pulled out some pieces from my "procrastination pile" and finished them off.  I feel like I'm on a roll, so I'm hopeful that I make some semblance of order out of the chaos that has become my workload.

Here are some of the results of our efforts in the last two weeks.
Enjoy!
Jill

Jill - I love all of these. Not only your art work, but your choices in frames. They are just perfect for making everything pop!

WOW-amazing pieces!

Am so sorry the gardener does not know flowers from weeds! Perhaps he should think about remedial gardening classes.
