It always pays off to ignore nonsense and appreciate goodness. (Sincere thanks to all of you who "got my back")
Crows think grasshoppers are yummy.
Migraines suck.
Ants think doggie treats are yummy.
Passive aggressive sometimes pays off but usually gets you a lot more trouble than you started with.
Mature mint looks a lot like a cross between a pipe cleaner and a fuzzy caterpillar.
Good neighbors are hard to come by.
Smelly black smoke coming from your television is a bad sign.
And last but not least, Mindy B is a banana bread baking goddess. Thank you for being the kind of friend that knows exactly what's needed at the minute it's needed. You rock!
Here are last week's pieces.
I think the sleeping beauty must be one of my all time favorites.

Love your work. I agree your work is amazing.
Does anybody know the designer of Halloween cat sampler. Second from top. That is absolutely adorable. Any help would be appreciated.
There's more banana bread in your future, I have more ripe bananas than I know what to do with. So far I've fed the guys in the office, the Bush, EGA Guild, and you. I think everyone is sick of banana bread by now.
And thank you for being there and checking up on me!
Let me know when ya make the bread so I can stop by...lol. Oh, and send the crows to my house so they can eat all these stupid grasshoppers. I was chasing one, around the yard, yesterday. I am sure the neighbors thought it was funny. That sleeping beauty is amazing! I need to have you frame my new Halloween Carnival designs. They need an old, gypsy looking frame.
All gorgeous as usual. Love sleeping beauty....the painting just finishes it off beautifully.
And the Halloween pieces, adorable. I'm amazed at your imagination for the finishing touches Jill.
Kudos to all the stitchers...
Jill - I don't know what happened last week, but I hope all is better now. It seemed to have started with the nasty comment about your framing prices. But c'mon, Jill...step back, go to your blog like you were one of your fans, take a breath and just look at all the fabulous stuff you do for others!!! These are so great! They looked beautiful before you got to them & now you've made them all masterpieces ( - : Have a better week, Jill. We miss you when you're not out here in cyber land.
Tracy J--I think what rubbed everyone the wrong way was the word "justify." You must have talked to Jill, and gotten a quote, or you wouldn't have been able to post that. Right now I am pricing out And They Sinned, a 5 foot long sampler and Jill is at the top of my list to frame it, and one of the least expensive. I've had five quotes so far. Our stitching will live on for centuries to come, why not the framing? I have seen your stitching on your blogs and you do beautiful work. Send Jill pictures and dimensions, and she WILL make you a beautiful mat kit, as she has done with me in the past. Send her your work, she will make a mat kit and you can take it to your favorite framer and she can frame it however you like. Jill has sent me many mats without the frame. The pieces I don't have Jill frame though, I always regret. She is the best and you will not regret having her frame anything. Keep on stitching!
I love the bottom two Hallowe'en designs with the cutouts from the mats, simple but effective (bet they weren't simple to cut though!!)
Sleeping Beauty is exquisite! Again, all of them are awesome!
As always, just beautiful work - that Sleeping Beauty must be amazing in person. But I have to say that I'm partial to all the Halloween goodness this week :) :)
Beautiful work and to hard to pick a favorite.
Gorgeous works as usual. And Sleeping Beauty is stunning!! Grats on all of it, Jill. And thanks for the wisdom too. I hope you have a great week this week!!
I love the Sleeping Beauty.
