A very sweet 16

I've been dying to show you these two pieces.  They were stitched as birthday presents for Lori's (the stitcher's) twin daughters (you've already seen her red pirate, yum!) and presented to them on their 16th birthday.  Amber and I worked very hard to get the tastes and preferences of each girl worked into the design of their frames.  I didn't dare post them until I was sure the girls had opened them, but we received a sweet photo of the recipients this week so I get to unveil them now.  Ta Da!  Amber and I collaborated on the mat colors, but she's the one with the great eye when it comes to the mat shapes.  Amber painted the butterflies while I painted the pearls.  Are we a great team or what?
